New York State TB Update

The purpose of this training is to increase provider awareness and knowledge of tuberculosis, including new treatment options for latent TB infection, genotyping and expanded contact investigations, diagnosing and treating multidrug resistant TB, TB in patients with co-morbidities, tuberculosis in children, and laboratory techniques used to diagnose TB. This training utilizes lectures and case-based presentations.
Who Should Attend:
This training is designed for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals working in the state of New York who are involved in the management of patients with tuberculosis.
The training is free of charge. Registration is limited to health care professionals in New York State and the deadline for registration is October 18, 2013.
