The European-American Chambers of Commerce in the United States invite you to the launch of our reoccurring series of startup pitch nights. Join attendees from over 20 European countries for a networking night dedicated to celebrating some of Europe’s best startups and innovation within the areas of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR).
This networking event will be held at the brand new "Court16" Long Island City Tennis Club, just one subway stop from Midtown Manhattan. This 15,000 sq ft space features the first customizable LED-illuminated tennis court in the United States by way of Germany.
The event program will include startup VR/AR company pitches from various European enterprises and VR/AR interactive demo stations to experience VR first-hand.
Participants will also be invited to join an inter-country pickleball speed networking competition following the pitch and demo sessions.

06:30-07:00 PM: Opening Networking Session - Belgian beers provided by BelCham are served as refreshments.
07:00-07:30 PM: Startup Pitch Sessions - Six different VR startups and companies from across Europe will each give a 3-minute pitch. The sessions will be followed by a moderated Q&A.
07:30-08:30 PM: VR Demo Stations - Following the pitches, VR companies will setup stations across the event floor for attendees to try the various VR experiences/products for themselves.
08:30-10:00 PM: PICKLEBALL “Speed Networking” What better way to network and make new friends and contacts than through sports?
From 08:30-10 PM, Court16 invites our attendees for a session of pickleball “speed networking.” Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA.
Attendees will be invited to join various cross-border teams to play pickleball together league style. These short games will be a great way for attendees from different countries to get to know and interact with each other.
NOTE: Upon registration, guests will be asked if they wish to participate in the pickleball games.
Please dress accordingly or bring the appropriate clothing. Locker rooms for changing are available.
