Start fresh. Start clear. Look ahead by being here. In this two hour workshop, you’ll be guided through a combination of breathwork, chanting, and deep meditation. Through this, you’ll work with your body to clear your mind and integrate your feelings before setting your intention for 2017.
This workshop opens with a metta (loving-kindness) meditation, primary intention setting, and a chant to move energy through the chakras. This prepares you to dive deep into breathwork and chanting before entering an extended, guided savasana meditation designed to clarify your intention for the year. Upon slowly rising, you’ll set this clarified intention with a mantra meditation.
Virginia’s yoga practice is rooted in vinyasa and kundalini traditions. She found yoga after fifteen years of dance and zero years of spirituality. Her practice dramatically shifted her perspective of the world and led her to explore increasingly mysterious ideas. She now uses yoga, energy healing, astrology, and tarot to guide people as they embrace their own curiosity. While she finds these practices beautiful and powerful, she mainly believes that this work is exploration, and it is play, and there is no right or wrong.
