Event description

Description

New Year 2019 Meditation Retreat - A Weekend Retreat with Anam Thubten

There is no Walk-in Registration. Registration closes Friday morning, Jan. 4.

There are three important aspects of meditation: mindful attention, open awareness and loving kindness. By practicing these, we can let go of negative mental patterns and expand our heart and mind, bringing about joy, peace and inner freedom. Anam Thubten will teach and guide participants in developing these three aspects of meditation and share Buddhist wisdom on working with our thoughts and emotions.

Dharmata Foundation is happy to invite you to participate in this auspicious beginning to the New Year. The retreat will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 5 & 6, 2019, from 10am - 5pm each day, with an ample break for lunch. (Lunch is not provided; there are restaurants in the area.) To honor the sacred container of the retreat, everyone is asked to make a commitment to attend the entire retreat, concluding on Sunday at 5:00 pm.

We expect this retreat to fill to capacity. Please register as soon as possible. A waiting list will be established when the retreat is full. Cancellation requests must be submitted by Dec. 20 in order to get a full refund.

Costs

Registration for the two-day retreat is $150. Pre-registration is required; click the box in the upper right of this page to register. Refunds can be issued up to one week prior to the event.
