Two-Part Medicare Workshop on March 27th and March 29th from 6-8:00 p.m.
If you were born in 1952, more than likely you are thinking about Medicare this year. That’s right, Medicare! For those approaching age 65 or eligible for Medicare due to a disability we invite you to join the specialists at Missoula Aging Services to learn how you can make the most of your Medicare options! Be informed about important enrollment dates, limited guaranteed issue rights, how to save money on your prescription drugs and protect yourself from late enrollment penalties!
There is a lot of advice about Medicare out there: on TV, on the internet, and probably in your mailbox! It's important to get local information, because Medicare options vary by state, and even by county. Missoula Aging Services is the local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), meaning you can count on us for local information that is unbiased, helping you make your own decision about Medicare coverage.
Evening Session 1 on Monday, March 27th: Go over the basics of your Medicare choices. This class helps people who are new to Medicare and want a complete overview of their options. In addition, options to help pay for Medicare costs for people with a limited income will be covered. 2 hours.
Evening Session 2 on Wednesday, March 29th: Part two of this class provides a hands-on computer interactive workshop; you’ll learn how easy it is to access your personal Medicare claims, plans & coverage, benefits & entitlements. Class meets in a computer lab. 2 hours.
