Description

Be sure to join our newsletter for additional Seattle area tech info, event discounts and more!

This month, join us to celebrate and empower women in the tech industry, discuss ways we can ensure women will be fully represented, and advance the conversation forward.

Our theme for this month is Women In Tech. It’s no secret, companies with more women and more gender diversity perform better than those with less. We’re excited to invite you to learn about the difficulties, successes, and benefits of women in the tech industry, and what we can all do to ensure women aren’t just fully represented, but thrive.

+ the crowd:
The Northwest’s smart, fun, creative, innovative tech community – software and application developers, company owners, startup founders, recruiters, hackers, job seekers, executives, investors, community leaders, and people who are new to the area.

+ the speakers:
Founders, leaders & innovators sharing their passion & new tech through 5 minute presentations & 3 minutes of your Q&A. Presenters flow from early stage startups to enterprise companies.

CirkledIn presented by Reetu Gupta - Compile and track kids' and students' achievements on this secure online platform and share it to boost their success rate for any application.

The Riveter presented by Carrie Maher - Founded in a story that women in the workplace know well. We’ve worked hard to claim our seat at the table. In the end, we believe there is only one way for our voices to be heard, to make a difference and to create the life we want: To build a brand new — fundamentally different—table.

Julep presented by Jane Park - We believe that everyday looks and trying new trends should be easy, effortless, and inspiring—reinforcing founder Jane Park’s philosophy that beauty should do more than make you look good, it should make you feel good, too.

T-Mobile presented by Lauri Bingham - How T-Mobile has embraced gender diversity in Technology in its Un-Carrier way.

American Heart Association / Go Red for Women presented by Steven Privette - the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women

+ the format:
Connecting, food & drinks > community building > community shoutouts > sponsor shoutouts > presentations > afterparty

+ the vibe:
Neighborhood block party – fun, friendly & relaxed with complementary food & a no host bar. You’ll laugh, smile, and have a fun night out with 350-500 Seattleites, 100-150 Eastsiders or 100 Tacomans.

+ the experience:
Discover innovative, creative and inspirational new technology (or smarter use of old tech). Could be VR, IoT, Apps, Fintech, Mobiletech, Healthtech, Cloudtech… you get the idea.

+the afterpary
Continue connecting to fantastic people in our community at Fuel Bar after the show ends around 7:30pm.
