Event description

Description

California is exceptionally rich in unique, often rare plants, and our succulents – from Agave to Dudleya to Yucca – are as distinctive as our other flora. Discover what California native succulents share with succulents from other regions and what sets them apart.

Sandy Masuo is an educator, author, conservationist, and plant nerd on a mission to inspire wonder at the natural world. She is a popular and enthusiastic speaker and since 2003 has served as associate editor in the publications division at the Los Angeles Zoo.
