NEW RESEARCH, NEW DIAGNOSTICS: ALZHEIMER’S

FREE

Thursday, October 19•7:00 PM

Breck Suite, Wright Hall

Featuring Dr. Jonathan Jackson, a cognitive neuroscientist from Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital

In recent years, researchers have embraced novel diagnostic criteria for Alzheimer’s disease. These criteria are related to symptoms and biomarkers of the disease, and may soon be recommended for diagnosing in the clinic. In this talk, Dr. Jonathan Jackson, a researcher from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, will focus on the current research findings in early detection and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Information on upcoming clinical trials that aim to prevent Alzheimer’s disease before symptoms are exhibited will also be discussed.

Co-sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association of Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapters and Bay Path University’s School of Education, Health and Human Services.
