New Orleans Halloween Special Event Tour *SPIRITS OF THE FRENCH QUARTER*
It is no secret New Orleans is the most haunted city in the United States and anyone who has been here already knows that Halloween is celebrated to the highest degree here! Join us and enjoy The Most eerie tour of the French Quarter that is given throughout the year! Guests will visit the homes belonging to Spirits who refuse to leave the French Quarter, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the United States! Guests are encouraged to dress up in costumes if they wish!
Guests need to be aware that it is common for guests to experience cold spots, see apparitions, and some have actually caught orbs and apparitions in pictures that they took during the tour. New Orleans has a very rich history, countless unsolved mysterys including both documented unsolved murders and suicides, and it also has some powerful paranormal activity. That is probably why it is referred to as the most haunted city in the United States.
In New Orleans it is harder to find a location that is not haunted than to find a place that is haunted!! This tour is only offered once a year during the Halloween Season! Guests will stroll through the streets under the moonlight while marveling at mysterious beauty that the French Quarter has to offer. Guests will see the gorgeous architecture that makes New Orleans so unique while hearing stories of New Orleans History, Haunting's, Mystery, Voodoo, Vampires, & Ghosts! During this tour an EMF Meter, Ghost/ Paranormal Detector will be used. Guests (Adults & Youth) will be allowed to use the equipment.
During this tour guests will visit over 15 locations! The Cabildo, Presbytere, St Louis Cathedral, The Sultans Palace, a home owned by Marie Laveau the famous voodoo queen, the Ursuline Convent, and the LaLaurie Mansion known to be the most Haunted House In the city of New Orleans, just to name a few of the locations!! Guests will visit haunted private residences, haunted apartments, haunted mansions,haunted museums, haunted streets/alleys , haunted churches, haunted cemeterys, haunted bathrooms, haunted balconies and gallerys, and even a haunted morgue!!
Guests will also learn about New Orleans Traditional Burial Practices, hear beautiful love stories that end in tragedy. Guests will explore and investigate some paranormal activity, and last but certainly not least guests on this tour will be visiting multiple locations where real vampires held their victims captive and fed off their blood.
Visit the home of the most predictable ghost Julie. This story is one of the most tragic love stories in New Orleans. Hear the story of the Carter Brothers, they were tried, convicted, and put to death however they are still seen by some today. Visit the location of the largest mass murder in New Orleans history. To this day the crime is unsolved however the ghosts remain.

This tour takes guests to multiple locations where paranormal activity is common on a regular basis. Guests will hear stories and get to take part in an investigation that could lead to a number of sightings. Some guests do not see anything through the course of the tour and then at the end when they check the photos that were taken during the course of the exploration they are blown away at the evidence in the photos. Orbs and apparitions are commonly caught in photos taken at the locations that guests will visit during this tour!
