Event description
New Nature Writing

About this Event

The world-wide contemporary conversation about our environment, about nature and words, focuses on complex human-nature inter-relationships, and it's challenging every writer to find new forms and vocabulary. In this workshop, poet and essayist presents writing excerpts and writing practices of contemporary nature writers as springboards for new poems and short prose: helping writers find new voices, and new insights in and about living in the natural world. All levels of writers are encouraged to attend: it's always a surprise how much good writing arrives in these supportive and intelligent weekends.
