Description
As part of our New Music Works initiative, compositions by graduate students at the University of Washington School of Music will be performed by the Seattle Symphony musicians at Benaroya Hall on June 4th at 3:30pm. The reading will be followed by a post-performance panel, “Demystifying the Process: New Works and Artistic Programming.”

The post-performance panel discussion will be moderated by Kelly Dylla, Seattle Symphony Vice President of Education and Community Engagement. The panel includes:
- Richard Karpen, Director of the School of Music at the University of Washington
- Janice Giteck, Professor of Composition at Cornish College
- Elena Dubinets, Seattle Symphony Vice President of Artistic Planning
- Stilian Kirov, Seattle Symphony Assistant Conductor
