Description

Join us, on Tuesday April 10, as we tour the new Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, PA. Encompassing 118,000 square feet, this space holds a broad collection of objects gathered from and pertaining to the Revolutionary War, including weapons, used in battle and diaries written in camp. Celebrate the important moments in the struggle for American Independence. Our tour includes an expansive collection of Revolutionary period art, that depicts a way of life in the early days of our nation. This inclusive picture of fascinating artifacts utilized by the Founding Fathers and the Revolutionary War Soldiers is unequaled.

Lunch is included at the City Tavern, established in 1773, where servers are dressed in period clothing. Returning to our coach, we will have the pleasure of a professional Philadelphia guide who will present highlights of this historic city.

We depart from the hospital at 7:30 am and depending on traffic, expect to be back by 5:30 pm.

The cost, including all gratuities, is $135.00. Your check made out to the AAMC Auxiliary and given to the secretary (temporarily located in the Clatinoff Lobby) or by clicking on our site: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/anne-arundel-medical-center-auxiliary-11846839416
