Are you interested in joining the mortgage industry as a Loan Processor or Loan Officer?
This three week course is the required 20 hour NMLS SAFE pre-licensing education requirement in obtaining a Mortgage Originator License.
Classes begin March 6th thru March 21st, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM (3 week course), at the SLCC Miller Professional Development Center (MPDC), 9750 S 300 W, Sandy, Utah.
This is a fun, interactive classroom with discussions, case studies, experiences and humor.

How To Become a Loan Officer
The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) established requirements for the licensing and/or registration of all Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs.) Below you will find the profession requirements needed to become a state-licensed mortgage loan officer.
Criminal Background Check – Fingerprints will need to be submitted through Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) for an FBI criminal background check.
Education – Completion of pre-license education. (This 20-Hour SAFE Course)
Testing – Required to pass National and State components of the SAFE MLO Test.
Credit Report – Applicants will have a credit report run through NMLS.
