New Moon Yin and Tibetan Bowls
Event Information
About this Event
New Moon Yin and Tibetan Bowls in early spring invites us into possibility, presence and challenges us with an opportunity for a more conscious engagement with our lives as we emerge from the cocoon of winter.
A Yin practice embodies a quiet, inner focus. Through the practice of stillness and staying for a while, it offers deeper access into the body, targeting our connective tissues, fascia and ligaments with the aim of lubricating and protecting our joints. These are areas of the body often not reached with a typical yang style of yoga practice or a fitness workout.
While we 'marinate', Paul Temple of Radiance Matrix will play the Tibetan Healing Bowls, meditative flute music and share Tibetan throat singing to help tether and relax the mind, and deepen the bliss. The bowls, flutes and chanting create a deeply meditative atmosphere, inviting a stillness of body and mind, that place where we have the opportunity to tap into our clarity, intuition and presence.
PLEASE NOTE: We have limited in-studio spaces. Please contact Kerry directly to reserve a spot in the studio. kerry@kerrytemplewood.com
This special event is for long time yogis, those somewhat newer to the journey, athletes and those seeking to relax, unwind and tap into deeper spaces within.
Our Yin and Bowls offerings are favourite here at the studio, we hope you will join us.
