PARISI CAFE INTRODUCES COFFEE SODA
Seasonal menu features a long list of summer baked items and new twist on coffee
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – When Kate Blackman, Parisi's director of menu development, added a little carbonation to one of their favorite single-origin brews, the marriage of the fizz and the coffee was a match made in java heaven. A first for Parisi, this Coffee Soda, which is featured on the new seasonal summer menu, uses a fruity citrus accented coffee and tops it with sparkling water.
In addition to the new seasonal drink menu, Parisi's Executive Pastry Chef Nicolette Foster developed a full summer menu featuring classic pastry fare. Foster uses simple, produced from scratch recipes and raw ingredients to make her "interesting, yet approachable" desserts and pastries.
The new menu is available now at both Parisi Café locations: Union Station in Kansas City, Mo. and Park Place in Leawood, Kan.

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
Parisi's version of a summer classic. Fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and sparkling water.
Sparkling Elderflower Lemonade
A crisp lemonade paired with intensely aromatic elderflower syrup.
Strawberry Rhubarb Italian Soda
A classic summer pairing gets updated. House-made fresh strawberry and rhubarb syrups with a hint of rose.
Double Chocolate Croissant
Dutch-processed cocoa croissants stuffed with 64-percent cacao batons. Delicate, flaky and buttery, this chocolate treat is a cocoa lovers' dream.
A traditional American pie filling in a convenient, hand-held size! Sweet strawberries complement the moist muffin recipe.
Banana Nut Muffin

Rich cocoa, bittersweet chocolate chips and walnuts are combined to make the chocolate lovers' dream cookie. The batter is made without flour but is deliciously chewy.
Dulce de Leche Brownie
