Joe Proulx, Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, Liberty Mutual Insurance: Joe will discuss the growth and maturation of Tableau within Liberty Mutual’s Corporate IT Finance organization, and how IT Finance transformed from a disjoined series of databases and spreadsheets to a central data repository accessible by Tableau for analytics and data visualization.
9:00 – 9:30 Making Data Analytic Ready: Accelerating Tableau ‘Time to Value’ with BIRST
Organizations struggle to get enterprise-wide transactional data ‘analytic ready’ for Tableau to consume. Gartner gives BIRST the highest scores for Governed Data Discovery and Extranet Deployments, and was the only BI provider ranked in the top 2 across all use cases. The annual Tableau User Conference is being held in November. Attendees of this year’s conference will share lessons learned and exciting new product developments seen at this year’s show. In addition, open Q&A time will be provided to share challenges and best practices.
