Every year as a church we head down to the seaside for a weekend of adventure, fun and encountering God. The weekend is a highlight in our church calendar, with something for all ages. There is lots going on all weekend with worship and teaching all together, kids clubs, great food, workshops, activities, campfires plus time to sit in the sun and go for walks by the sea. It’s a great weekend to connect with our church family and go deeper in experiencing more of God. We really, really hope you can make it!
You can either come and camp onsite for the whole time (best value!), or you can book your own accommodation nearby and buy a day pass. Alternatively you can come down just for a day if you can’t make the whole weekend. The meals included in the ticket price are: Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday lunchtime and Sunday afternoon cream tea. We also have our very own Weekender Cafe onsite selling breakfast on both mornings, hot dogs and burgers in the evening, and snacks and drinks throughout the day. If you have any dietary requirements, please indicate this on the booking form.
We want to make it possible for everyone to come so we keep the prices as low as we can, however the money we receive from tickets unfortunately doesn’t cover the cost of the whole weekend, so we will also be taking an offering on the Sunday morning at the weekender to help cover the costs too. If you need help with costs towards the weekend, then we also have a bursary available to help some people who can’t afford it, please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let us know if this will help you and we will try and work something out. We would love you to be there and don’t want cost to be an issue!
