About this event
New England GiveCamp is a charitable, community-run event at which software developers, designers, and other technical volunteers donate their skills and expertise to support area non-profit organizations.
During GiveCamp weekend software and technical professionals from around New England will converge to develop pro bono custom software solutions, including web sites, content management systems, databases, and other projects for over a dozen New England charities.
New England GiveCamp 2023 is Hybrid. You can grab your sleeping bags, couch surf or driving back and forth all weekend if you are close and want to be in-person. However, we will have teams that are either all remote or hybird as well.
Still want swag? It will be ordered through Spreadshirt once you are registered. For those that attend in person, we will still have food and social opportunities.
Volunteers are the life-blood of GiveCamp, and regardless of your technical background or the amount of time you have to contribute, there's a place for you to help.
- If you're a technical professional that can set aside a majority of the weekend (particularly on Saturday), we invite you to work as part of a team assigned to a specific non-profit's project. All experience levels and both technology and design backgrounds are welcome.
- If you'd like to help in a non-technical capacity, there's plenty of other options to participate in this event, both during the event and as part of the planning effort.
Feel free to e-mail the organizational committee at newenglandgivecamp@gmail.com if you have questions on the GiveCamp.
