Description

Yoga for Parkinson’s: Movement, Breath and Meditation

Yoga is one of the most beneficial therapies for Parkinson's disease, helping to increase flexibility; improve posture; loosen tight, painful muscles; build (or rebuild) confidence; and, through these benefits, enhance quality of life.

This series is designed for those with Parkinson's and their caregivers. It will be tailored to the needs and abilities of the participants and will include both seated yoga and options for more challenging floor work.

Brynna is a supportive, welcoming teacher who is certified in Exercise for Parkinson’s, Yoga, Yoga for Seniors and Fall Prevention. She has been an educator and movement artist for 30 years and loves teaching yoga!

(Plan to wear comfortable clothes.)

For more information on the benefits of yoga, check out this article from the Michael J Fox foundation

This class is a piolt class with PRO with the hopes it will continue as an ongoing class with Brynna.
