Unchained Series 14: Biere De Garde
Biere de Garde - 7.3% 26 IBUs
For Unchained 14, Summit brewer Jeff Williamson brings you Biere de Garde -- a classic French farmhouse style ale that is rarely seen fresh locally. Using the best French and Belgian malts, Jeff's brew entices you with a malt aroma of toffee, cherry and other goodies. The malt theme carries through to the taste, offering up more toffee, cherry, figs, caramel, and a hint of biscuit. A subtle hop spiciness plays amongst the flavors and it finishes crisp and dry.
Saga IPA
American IPA - 6.4% 80 IBUs
Named after the Norse goddess Saga, drinking companion of the God Odin. With a divine tropical fruit hop aroma and clean, assertive bitterness.
Summit Winter Ale
Christmas/Winter Specialty Spiced Beer - 6.2% 36 IBUs
This unique beer has its origins in British neighborhood pubs where villagers gathered to shake off the damp chill of English winter. Winter Ale is brewed in the tradition of those winter warmer ales, with a robust, full-bodied flavor that can take the chill out of even the coldest nights. Nutty, roasted malt flavor with hints of coffee, caramel, cocoa and a dash of hop spice.
Summit Extra Pale Ale
English Pale Ale - 5.3% 45 IBUs
Summit's first born child and flagship beer, Extra Pale Ale has pronounced hop flavor and a light bronze color. Brewed since 1986 there isn't a beer lover in the Twin Cities who isn't familiar with Summit Extra Pale Ale. Gold medal-winning flavor. With caramel, biscuity malts superbly balanced with an earthy hop bite and juicy citrus.Cheers!
