Description

EMPHASIS project presents its third free webinar about ‘New approaches to managing cabbage stem flea beetle in oilseed rape’ that will be held the 26rd April 2017 (15:00 CET).

The session will be delivered by UK's National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) - one of EMPHASIS partners. The session will be about cabbage stem flea beetle (CSFB). CSFB was an insignificant pest of oilseed rape years ago, but loss of neonicotenoid seed treatments has meant that it poses a serious threat to crop establishment. NIAB will describe a new approach using companion crops which may help to manage the pest in the future.

Speaker will be NIAB researcher Simon Kightley.

The target audience are researchers, agri-business and forestry experts, farmers and foresters and any other interested in plant health.

Ones you register to the event you will receive by email additional information to follow online the webinar.

Do not hesitate to contact EMPHASIS project through Facebook, Twitter, email or through their website if you want to be updated on webinars dates and content and book a ticket. It is for free.
