Event description
Join psychologist Sarah Bren as she leads a discussion on how to establish caregiving routines and communicate with your child.

About this Event

In this lunch & learn workshop, you will learn about ways to establish caregiving routines and foster healthy and respectful relationships with your children.

Join specialized psychologist, Sarah Bren, as she leads a discussion around the early days and months of baby’s life, and how as new parents we can set the foundation for secure attachment, self confidence, independence, and a mutually respectful relationship with our child as they grow.

During this time, we will review the basics of establishing a respectful caregiving routine, including how to diaper, bathe, feed, and dress your child in a way that promotes connection and secure attachment.

Topics will include how to communicate with your child in a way that helps them to feel secure and connected to you, and how to invite even the youngest child to engage with and participate in their caregiving routines.

Though this workshop may most benefit new parents of infants (prenatal - 6 months), anyone who diapers, bathes, dresses, or feeds a child of any age is likely to get something out of this workshop. We welcome all to our community and look forward to meeting you.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Registration required. Limited capacity.
