Description

NeverTheLess: A Night Of.. IS BACK!

We could not be more proud of the unbelievable success of our first performance piece NeverTheless: A Night of Nasty Women last March. We truly came together as women and as artists and created something pure and magical. This performance featured the interweaving of almost 20 performance artists sharing their gift of singing, dancing, poetry, and comedy while eight visual artists displayed their inspiring work throughout the space. We had an incredible turn out and managed to raise $600 for Ms. Foundation for Women (forwomen.org).

And now.. we are beyond thrilled to announce... our second installment... NeverTheLess: A Night of Dualism

This night will center around the idea or belief that everything has two opposite parts or principles.

good / evil
female / male
love / hate
material / spiritual.
We want to bring forth the issues that cut us in two, that divide us, and make us think, make us question. We want to hold up the mirror of reality in order to see truths that may be difficult to face and to navigate; thus using art to help forge the way and, potentially, inform a new path.

Vocal Performances by:
Juliana Carr, Audrey Dimola, Leah Fox, Lydia Granger, Meredith Miller Higgins, Samantha Kuhl, and Lindsay Spangenthal

Choreography and Dance Performances by:
Lily Davis, Glenn Giron, Sarah Grace, Michele Lee, Rainey Rowan, Davida Sam, and Bre Short

"Team Rubicon's primary mission is providing disaster relief to those affected by natural disasters, be they domestic or international. By pairing the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions, Team Rubicon aims to provide the greatest service and impact possible. Hurricanes have descended on our coastal communities, and Team Rubicon is monitoring the weather paths and gathering information to learn how our team can support those who’ll need help recovering from these severe weather events.
