Want to facilitate young students’ conversations around race, class, gender, and other social issues?
Join us for this thought-provoking, interactive one-day workshop. You’ll learn developmentally appropriate teaching strategies and tools to help you to normalize conversations about often-silenced social topics. See examples of this work in action and learn to facilitate young students’ conversations around race, class, gender, and other social issues. You’ll also explore the “doll stories” instructional model to help elementary-age children explore big social justice topics.
