This class offers an introduction to the concept of coffee extraction. Through side-by-side tasting, and a workshop using manual brew methods, particpants will explore the effects of the Six Essential Elements of Brewing. The instructor will demonstrate brewing with 4 different methods, and the class will then practice brewing with the method of their choice.
Cost: $35/person, paid at the cafe register
Includes an SCC pencil, sticker and half pound of seasonal coffee.
Duration: 3 hours
Note: Attendees must be over the age of 16. If under 18, a parent/guardian must accompany.
