Then you won’t want to miss, Margaret Jacobson’s talk Never Going Back. Margaret has been gluten free, dairy free, and egg free, since February 2009. Margaret was diagnosed with asymptomatic Hashimoto’s hypothyroiditism, and Celiac Sprue in May 2010. Margaret has continued to improve her blood work autoimmune indicators through simple changes in removing foods to which she has sensitivities, that set off her immune system. Margaret has had to take all kinds of strange things out of her diet from oregano, garlic, sugar and beef. In addition, Margaret has coached countless others on the process of going gluten free. The science behind her knowledge, inspirational coaching style, and practical education on the topic of going gluten free are laced with her fun, and playful demeanor.
Attendees can expect to learn about why one would consider going gluten free, how to detect gluten in foods in your daily life, learning to survive going gluten free with family, work and community, tasting yummy GF products, local resources, and how to begin your process of going GF when you are ready.
A bit on Margaret:
Margaret Jacobson is a Certified Wellcoach. She has a Masters in Health Services Administration and BA in Neuroscience. She has completed a two year program in Women's Empowerment and Goddess studies based in the Hawaiian Aloha tradition. She has 24 years of experience practicing yoga, and meditation, and has Third Degree Reiki Training. Margaret is brainy with a dose of fun and play, deep compassion, and fire's it up with feminism that will be sure to wake your soul up.
