About this Event

During this amazing presentation Dr. Hoeft will discuss the neuroscience of the dyslexia in a way that makes the information easy to digest for all educators. Her presentation includes the most recent research into brain imaging scans, familial connections, response to appropriate interventions and insights into how compensation and resilience play important roles into how children and adults with dyslexia use these strategies to conquer dyslexia. Teachers need to know this information as it is very likely you will have students with dyslexia in your classroom every year. Attending this event and learning about the neuroscience of dyslexia will help move the science and research from the labs into our classrooms to help support struggling readers.
