Description

Your Business Will Never Consistently Perform Better Than The Leader That Steers It.

More women than ever before are starting their own business for a variety of professional, social and economic reasons. Yet almost 50% of female businesses are no longer in business 5 years later. According to research overall 51% do not pay themselves a wage and 53% are not contributing to Superannuation.

Being a woman in business is different, we are met with different challanges than our male counterparts. "Mompreneurs" have dual responsibilities to their businesses and to their families, and many women struggle with being taken seriously and access funding or capital.

In addition women struggle more with having a low perception of self (or your business), buying into your niggling self-doubts, or falling prey to poor negotiation skills. Female entrepreneurs often fall into patterns of self-sabotage. Research shows that men apply for jobs when they meet 60% of the qualifications, whereas women only apply if they meet 100% of them. The same goes for funding: men often prepare their pitches by talking about everything they have done to date, whereas women explain what they’re going to do, waiting until they’re at the 100% mark.

The biggest reason for business failure is a lack of capital, however poor planning, lack of training and coaching/mentoring or an attitude of "how hard can it be?" comes in as strong contenders.

If you are a female business owner this information session will help you shift your perspectives. Neuroscience and Leadership are fairly new concepts, as is NeuroPerfromance. However understanding the impact of your neurochemicals on your ability to lead yourself and others, decision making, innovation and sales will take you one step closer to becomming the Leader you need to be, to take your business to the next level.

My name is Christina McCarthy, I am your Business Coach and Program Facilitator. I am a Conversational Intelligence Coach, a neuroscience based coaching methodology used by businesses and leaders such as Angela Ahrendts, senior vice president of retail at Apple Inc., Donna Karen designer and the creator of the Donna Karan New York and DKNY clothing labels, Boehringer Ingelheim, a global, research-driven pharmaceutical company and many other 500 fortune companies. This session is perfect for female business owners, managers and team leaders who want to better understand themselves and others, in order to grow their business.

I will share with you how your brain works, how conversations impact your brain chemistry and how they either help you or undermine your success. I will show you how to move from conversations that miss the mark, to conversations that trigger trust, growth and innovation and allow you to create a whole new level of engagement and impact with your clients, in order to build your brand, your culture and your success.

Getting to the next level of greatness depends
on the quality of the culture, which depends
on the quality of relationships, which depends
on the quality of conversations…
Everything happens through conversation!
