Event description
FASCETS training is a neurobehavioral approach to shift the focus away from behavior-based symptoms, and toward brain-based accommodations.

About this Event

This 3 day interactive workshop is facilitated by Wendy Brown, who is an independent mentor, consultant and event speaker in the US and Canada. Mrs. Brown is a certified trainer of The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model. The workshop information will educate professionals, parents and caregivers who work with children, adolescent or adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Neonatal Abstinence (drug) Syndrome or other neurobehavioral conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder. FASCETS training is a best practices approach for increasing understanding of the neurobehavioral model, reducing frustration, and expanding options. Mrs. Brown and her husband have parented over 80 children through foster care and adoption, most of whom have been neuro-developmentally challenged. Case examples of successful accommodations are central to this training.

July 25-27, 2019 (Th/Fr/Sa), 9am to 4 pm, meeting in the Educational Building behind Treasure Valley Baptist Church located at 386 N. Verde Drive, Ontario Oregon, 97914. Tuition ($350.00) includes a daily lunch and all materials needed for workshop.
