Eddie DeGarmo: President of Capitol CMG Publishing

As part of DeGarmo & Key, Eddie DeGarmo was a trailblazer of contemporary Christian music. D&K’s 17-year career encompassed over 2 million records sold, 9 Grammy and 27 Dove award nominations, and culminated with their induction into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. After Eddie’s run with DeGarmo & Key, he released a successful solo album and co-founded ForeFront Records, where he developed platinum selling, Grammy-winning artists such as dcTalk, Audio Adrenaline, Rebecca St. James and Stacie Orrico. Eddie went on to establish Meaux Music Publishing, creating such groundbreaking projects as “Hero – The Rock Opera.” He later joined EMI CMG Publishing, serving for over 10 years as President of the division. In 2013, he led the merge of EMI CMG Publishing with Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing to create Capitol CMG Publishing, a powerhouse full-service Music Publisher. Under Eddie’s leadership since 2002, the Publishing division has received multiple Christian Music Publisher of the Year awards from ASCAP, BMI, and Billboard Magazine.


Bill Lee: Senior Vice President of Licensing Operations for SESAC

Bill Lee is the Senior Vice President of Licensing Operations for SESAC Inc.; the nation's fastest growing performing rights organization, headquartered in Nashville, Tenn.

Lee's primary responsibilities at SESAC encompass overseeing all aspects of the Licensing Department, including the administrative, cable, broadcast, general and new media licensing functions as well as the Business Development Center and Accounts Resolutions Departments. Prior to joining SESAC in 1997, Lee served 18 years as the Senior Manager of Licensing for ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). He is a member of many national organizations, including AMOA (Amusement and Music Operations Association), AH&LA (American Hotel and Lodging Association), Roller Skating Association International, ACM (Academy of Country Music), CMA (Country Music Association), IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), the BPAA (Bowling Proprietors Association of America) and the Belmont Peer Exchange.


Dean Diehl: Senior VP of Provident Music Group

With almost 30 years of experience in the Music Industry Dean Diehl has helped develop some of Christian music’s best-loved artists and albums including projects from Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, Bob Carlisle, Third Day, Newsboys, Jars of Clay and many others. Diehl serves a double-role these days as the Director of the Music Business program at Trevecca Nazarene University and as the Senior Vice President of Strategy for Provident Music Group.

The Trevecca Nazarene University Association of Business Professionals is an organization that allows business professionals associated with Trevecca to connect with other business professionals through networking events, serve the community through service projects, and engage in outreach to the broader business community to raise awareness of the University’s mission.
