FEATURED WORKSHOP: POETRY INSIDE OUT (PIO)
Explore the use of translation and poetry to build essential language skills and honor linguistic and cultural diversity in the classroom. Offered in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia's Office of Multilingual Programs and the Center for the Art of Translation. [This is an all-day workshop following the plenary.]

Bob Fecho is Professor of English Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Bob Fecho's books include Teaching for the Students: Habits of Heart, Mind, and Practice in the Engaged Classroom and Teaching Outside the Box But Inside the Standards: Making Room for Dialogue.
