Description

This charity golf event, hosted by Network Connections, benefits Jeremiah's Place, in Pittsburgh, PA. Their mission is to "protect children and strengthen families by providing a safe haven of respite, health, renewal, and support for children and families during times of crisis. We strive to serve as a leading voice for child abuse prevention thereby transforming the community into a place that is safe, stable, and loving for all children."

Join us to raise money for this amazing charity! Meet us on Friday, August 23rd at Oakbrook Golf Club for golf, BBQ lunch, free wine and beer (donated by Penn Brewery!), raffles, live music, and so much more.

Shotgun start, scramble format.

First place scramble team wins $1,000 in Visa Giftcards! Second place team wins $600 in Visa Giftcards!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may print your ticket if you'd like, but we will also be able to scan your ticket right from your phone! Just have your e-ticket ready to go at the registration table on event day.

How do I register for the event?

You can register right here on Eventbrite for our event by clicking “register” at the top of the page. The website will guide you through the registration process and all required information for obtaining your ticket.

What is Jeremiah's Place?

Jeremiah’s Place is Pittsburgh’s only crisis nursery, and provides emergency care for children ages 0-6 for a few hours or a few days based on the needs of the family. The primary focus at Jeremiah’s place is to keep children safe and to provide a safe and supportive solution for families in need. Jeremiah’s Place is conveniently located and is staffed by trauma informed caregivers and socials workers. All services provided by Jeremiah’s Place are free, available 24 hours a day, and most importantly, judgment free. Emergency child care needs can include: Hospitalization, Funeral, Homelessness, Domestic violence, Military deployment, Job interview, Unsafe child care, Emergency respite, and many other situations.

I don’t golf, can I still come?

We have tickets for everyone, including non-golfers. A non-golfing ticket will include food and activities, minus the round of golf and the associated fees. Just select the “Spectator Ticket” to specify this at registration.

I can’t make it, can I just donate?

Yes! Through our registration page you can scroll through the ticket options and select “Donation” This option will prompt you for an amount and your personal details.

How can my business be a sponsor for the event?

We have many levels of sponsorship for our event to fit any budget, each with benefits to your business. You may sponsor the event through the registration process above.

Platinum Level - $1500

  • Includes 2 foursomes for golf, 1 hole sponsorship sign, Golf cart advertisement, 50 raffle tickets, logo on the back of our commemorative t shirt, Logo recognition on event page, Logo recognition on ticket sales page, Opportunity to put an item in goodie bag that will be distributed to all attendees. (sponsor is responsible for gift)

Gold Level - $1125

  • Includes foursome for golf, 1 hole sponsorship sign, 35 raffle tickets, logo on the back of our commemorative t shirt, Opportunity to put an item in goodie bag that will be distributed to all attendees. Silver Level - $750

  • Includes 2 tickets for golf, 1 hole sponsorship sign, 20 raffle tickets, Logo recognition on event page, Logo recognition on ticket sales page

Bronze Level - $375

  • Includes 1 hole sponsorship sign, 10 raffle tickets.

What is the dress code?

We ask that proper golf attire be worn to the event, and absolutely NO jeans.

Is there a minimum age requirement to attend?

No, but we will be checking IDs for those wishing to consume alcoholic beverages.

When should I arrive to the event?

Registration will open at 9:30 AM, Shotgun start at 10:00 AM.
