Description

Use #NetNeutrality and #AdvocacyDay to follow and share this event on social media.

Public Knowledge and allies invite you to come to Washington, D.C. be an advocate for the open internet and tell your Congressional representative to restore net neutrality!

The Senate recently passed a bipartisan Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to overturn the Federal Communications Commission’s 2017 repeal of net neutrality rules that prevent broadband providers from blocking websites, throttling web traffic, or creating “fast lanes” only for those able to pay for prioritization. Now the House of Representatives needs to vote to restore net neutrality.

Join us on Tuesday, June 26 for an Advocacy Day to visit your representative’s office. We’ll start the day with an advocacy training to make sure you’re ready and feel comfortable talking to your member of Congress. Then we'll take you to your representative’s office so you can share why an open internet is important to you and why it's essential that your representative supports the CRA resolution. We'll close out the day with a reception to celebrate your hard work.

Can't make it to D.C.? Join one of the many protests happening around the country hosted by Fight for the Future that same day!
