Frequently asked questions

What is NSR?

NSR (Nervous System Reset) is a 6-week guided journey that combines breathwork, gentle movement and somatic awareness to help you regulate your nervous system. It’s designed to help you shift from chronic stress into a state of calm, clarity and inner resilience.

How long is the program?

The full program lasts 6 weeks, with one in-person class per week (80 minutes). Classes take place on Tuesdays at 19:30 at Sattva Yoga Zürich.

What happens in a typical class?

Each class includes: Guided breathwork and somatic practices Conscious movement and nervous system education Moments of reflection, rest and integration The atmosphere is slow, grounding and accessible — no pressure to perform.

Is it like a yoga or meditation class?

It includes elements of yoga, meditation and mindfulness, but NSR is not a typical class. It’s a nervous system training, focused on internal regulation rather than fitness or flexibility.

What are somatic tools?

Somatic tools are body-based practices that help you listen to your internal experience and build safety from within. They work with the vagus nerve, interoception, breath and movement to shift your physiological state.

Who is it for?

NSR is for anyone feeling stressed, overwhelmed, dysregulated or disconnected — or simply curious about their own inner landscape. No previous experience is needed. It’s especially helpful for people in high-pressure lives or healing processes.

I’m not very fit or flexible. Can I join?

Absolutely. NSR is not about performance. All practices are gentle, accessible and adjustable to your needs. You are always invited to listen to your body and rest when needed.

What are the free intro sessions?

They are informal 1-hour gatherings where you can: Learn what NSR is all about Try a short practice Ask questions and meet the teacher They're open to all and free of charge.
