Description

​The NEPA Trans Health Conference was conceived in 2012 as an educational forum for Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) area health care professionals, their staffs, educators, and the general public to learn from the transgender community and from those who treat and support them about the necessary care, respect, and understanding of people who are transgender.

Check-in for the event begins at 8 AM. Light breakfast and lunch is included.

Safe Zone Training is limited to 25 particpants and requires a ticket. It takes place for 2 hours in the afternoon and will prohibit the attendee from particpating in the afternoon workshops.

LGBTQ Ally Training is limited to 25 particpants and requires a ticket. It takes place for 2 hours in the afternoon and will prohibit the attendee from particpating in the afternoon workshops. YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE SAFE ZONE TRAINING AS A PREREQUSITE TO COMPLETE LGBTQ ALLY TRAINING.

We encourage teens and young adults to attend with a parent or guardian.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Limited meter parking is available on the street. Parking in the lot at Regional Hospital on Jefferson Avenue is a short distance from the venue for a daily fee. Accessible parking is available in the Lot behind the venue and available by contacting the event organizers by email for the lot location.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your printed ticket to the event.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket is not transferable for safety and security reasons.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Your ticket is not transferrable. However, using affirmed first names is most welcomed!

Is there a cost for the event?

The event is free, but tickets are required for admission.
