Most city folks look at abandoned buildings and overgrown lots and see urban blight.
The founders of Rid-All Green Partnership aren’t like most folks. Where others see blight, they see opportunity.
That’s why they took a forgotten 26-acre plot of land in Cleveland’s Kinsman Neighborhood and turned it into a pristine urban farm that grows produce, offers a community kitchen, generates and sells organic compost, and offers environmental education and training programs. At Rid-All they cultivate fruits and vegetables but, more importantly, they cultivate excitement in the promise of urban farming.
Join us at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4 at Rid-All for our April ecosystem meeting, where we’ll be treated to a tour of the farm’s greenhouses and (what?!) its fish harvesting processes. This is an incredible opportunity to see firsthand the amazing urban agriculture happening all over northeast Ohio, and to brainstorm how our ecosystem can contribute to that work. We'll see you there!
