Jordan Ray has been in the digital marketing space for the past 10 years, working in leadership roles within major media companies such as Gannett, cars.com and now Tegna. Prior to coming to work at Tegna, Jordan lead the pilot roll out of cars.com packaging solution in several major markets throughout the U.S., as well as playing a pivotal role in training the entire cars.com sales staff at the annual summit. Most recently, as the digital sales manager at Channel 3, Jordan along with David Goler, has lead several OTT seminars with both local and National businesses in attendance.

David Goler has been with Tegna for 4 years. He started off his career in New York City in a national advertising role for Fast Company Magazine. Then he worked at a sophisticated mobile ad tech company and then a publisher-side ad server. He moved to Cleveland in 2016 where he started working for Tegna’s Channel 3 WKYC TV station. After ten years in digital marketing and most recently, television his industry knowledge is unmatched and he is a true expert in the advertising space.

Presentation

The presentation will cover the state of ott, focusing primarily on connected tv. Consumer viewing patterns have changed and people are getting their TV content in a multitude of ways. We will discuss the following:

-types of OTT content providers (mvpd, svod, avod, fnas, etc)

-how to buy connected tv advertising (programmatic vs direct)

-industry trends and research

-upcoming connected tv content libraries (Disney +, apple tv, hbo max, etc)
