About this Event

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author David Zucchino '73 will speak at UNC Hussman —as part of the Nelson Benton Lecture Series — about his new book, which has already won widespread recognition. "Wilmington's Lie" uses contemporary newspaper accounts, diaries, letters and official communications to tell the story of the Wilmington coup of 1898, an extraordinary event unknown to most Americans. Zucchino's visit, part of the Nelson Benton Lecture Series, will include a discussion with Hussman students, moderated by faculty member Trevy McDonald.

Event is free and open to the public but please register.
