Neighborhood Walking Tours
Neighborhood Walking Tours - Thursdays in May begining at 6 p.m.
Indiana Landmarks, in celebration of Preservation Month, partners with Historic Urban Neighborhoods of Indianapolis to offer 5 walking tours of different historic neighborhoods each Thursday in May. Tours are 90-minutes, start at 6 p.m., and cost $10 per non-member and $5 per member.
You’ll learn the history of each area and its revitalization, see the range in house styles, get the scoop on average sale prices, and see the interior of a home. Each tour covers about one mile. At the conclusion of the tour, you have the option of continuing the conversation at a neighborhood tavern.
May 1 – Old Speedway
May 8 – Cottage Home
May 15 – Meridian Park
May 22 – Lockerbie
May 29 – Old Northside
Starting locations for each tour will be e-mailed to guests closer to the tour date.
