Sneak Peak into upcoming PMI-ACP class:

“The growth and success of Agile has revealed the need for standardizing practices and for certifying practitioners. The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or PMI-ACP certification was created to improve the use of Agile for increased project success. It is broader-based than Scrum, covering a number of relevant approaches and domains such as Kanban, Lean, extreme programming (XP) and test-driven development (TDD.), and includes a deep dive into Scrum.

PMI-ACP certification is one the PMI’s fastest-growing credentials and for good reason.  First and foremost, it is backed by the fifty years of experience and industry-standard foundation of the Project Management Institute, who is recognized globally as the benchmark for project management certifications.  Secondly, the certification focuses on the real-world application of Scrum in all of its many facets. Today’s project managers help their organizations be more competitive by expertly applying Agile methods. The PMI-ACP certification helps build that expertise. The rigor needed to obtain the PMI-ACP certification makes it more meaningful than other competing credentials.

As a project management professional, getting the PMI-ACP certification and enhancing your skills and knowledge about Agile will benefit your organization. It also contributes to your professional growth by:

Putting you in a better position to understand the business landscape around you.

Helping your organization make better decisions about how to incorporate and apply Agile practices.

Assisting others make sense of the fundamental changes that Agile introduces.

This class will cover the education contact hours required for PMI certification of the PMI-ACP. Topics will provide an introduction to Agile, the different approaches to Agile, a review of recommended reading material, and real-world application for Agile principles"

Report PDUs: Please provide your PMI ID if you would like us to report PDUs for your attendance.
