A title used to to translate "KING"

Negus is derived from the Ethiopian Semitic root, meaning "to reign". It is also used as an honorific title bestowed on governors of the most important kingdoms. Haile Selassie is well known as one of them........

Paris...... the capital of France.

It's a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.........

Especially African American Culture.

France was viewed as a welcoming change from the racism in the US. This was a time that jazz was introduced to the French and artistic black culture was born in Paris. African American musicians, artists, and Harlem Renaissance writers found Paris 1920s embracing.
