Description

In this 6-hour intensive learning session, Mike Frascogna will share his negotiation roadmap covering the principles of negotiation and the building blocks of persuasion—the ultimate objective of negotiation—at work in business transactions, legal situations, and everyday personal interaction. Mike will also cover the “four levers” of negotiation and the numerous strategies and tactics of persuasion that originate from these levers. Throughout the workshop, practical examples coupled with illustrations will be used to move from the realm of the abstract to real world situations.

X.M. (“Mike”) FRASCOGNA, JR.is the senior partner in the law firm of Frascogna Courtney, PLLC which was established in 1972 in Jackson, Mississippi. Frascogna has over 42 years of experience as a civil trial attorney engaged in an extensive general litigation and transactional practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases including the following areas: international litigation and business transactions, complex commercial litigation, mass tort litigation, transactions involving real estate, intellectual property, oil & gas, securities, media rights, insurance and all aspects of music, movie, television and book property rights, celebrity rights and all forms of complex negotiations.


Frascogna has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mississippi College School of Law since 1978, teaching courses in negotiation and entertainment & sports. He has maintained a Martindale Hubbell peer review AV® Preeminent rating continuously since 1993 and remains active in alternative dispute resolution serving on the panel of arbitrators and mediators of the American Arbitration Association. He has arbitrated and mediated foreign and domestic commercial disputes and has served as a Special Master to numerous circuit courts throughout Mississippi.
