Being a good negotiator is all about developing the near-involuntary habit of thinking and preparing like a negotiator. That continual practice can create a winning mindset and lead to excellence.

Anchoring - or the first offer made in a negotiation - is a very powerful tactic, and named an achor because it is hard to move. But it isn't impossible, and this class will talk about ways to create leverage and re-anchor in a negotiation. Leverage is the evidence or power that allows you to move an anchor in a negotiation.

This isn't a webinar - this is an interactive class. So be prepared to interact with classmates and actually practice asking for what you need and deserve, because PRACTICE MAKE POWER.

There will be a brief lecture, followed by a paired, interactive case study that simulates a negotiation. Participants are assigned roles and put into virutal "break out" rooms to practice negotiating a deal, and then the class comes back together to debrief after each experience.

Participants will learn how to assess, detect and construct leverage that is powerful AND credible, and help deepen their confidence in future negotiations. Participants will get a chance to be both seller and buyer during the case studies.
