Event description

Nefertari’s Tomb Experience in Virtual Reality | February Schedule for Docent-Led Tours

Travel Back in Time
Egyptian queen Nefertari had an extraordinary life; it’s drawn in hieroglyphics in her tomb. The desert sand swallowed this 1255 BC burial place and only recently was it discovered and brought back to the surface. Very few people have had the honor of walking its fragile halls. This high-resolution VR rendering of the tomb is like going back in time to ancient Egypt.

Docent-Led Tours
The Nefertari’s Tomb Experience in Virtual Reality is a rare chance to tour this beautiful place with a trained Egyptologist. Meet the rest of the tour group and learn about ancient traditions, the meaning of hieroglyphics, mummification processes, and much more. Don't have a VR headset? Join from your desktop.

Spaces are limited, reserve your ticket today.

Experience first hand the most sacred ritual of an Egyptian's life... where they go in death.
