Description

Who Should Attend?

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection invites public stakeholders — including department of public works members, municipal planners, and licensed site remediation professionals (LSRPs) — to participate in this informative workshop for the National Disaster Resilience Regional Stormwater Infrastructure Toolkit.

Why Attend?

The National Disaster Regional Stormwater Infrastructure Toolkit seeks to create a set of voluntary tools to aid New Jersey communities with regional stormwater management planning processes, and will be piloted within the Meadowlands region of Bergen County, New Jersey. The focus of the Toolkit is on the development of best management practices for stormwater infrastructure operations and maintenance, and associated job training methods, with an emphasis on green infrastructure. This workshop will review toolkit progress and the tools developed thus far. Several stormwater and resilience guest speakers will present throughout the day.
