About this Event

The New Orleans Section of the National Council of Negro Women will host the Inaugural Bethune and Height Cornerstone Tea & Scholarship Benefit at Three O’clock in the Afternoon on Sunday, March 29th, 2020 at Dillard University.

The New Orleans Section strives to exemplify through service to our community, the works of our Founder and First President, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, and Long-Serving President Emerita, Dr. Dorothy I. Height who both serve as the cornerstones of our great organization. In continuation of this work, we are raising funds for scholarships that will benefit a student at each of the three Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the New Orleans area (Dillard University, Southern University, and Xavier University. As a non-profit organization and your ticket donation is tax deductible.

Tea attire is requested for the event (hats, fascinators and gloves).
