Event description

Description

Join us for an unapologetically Black night of Harlem Renaissance-themed celebration, as we wrap up 2017 and prepare for a new year. More than just an evening of good food, fellowship, and dance, gala-goers will also be a part of furthering our work in the community, especially when it comes to our national focus, "Four for the Future," which outlines our priorities of Education (especially in S.T.E.M.), Health, Entrepreneurship/Economic Empowerment, and Values.

The National Council of Negro Women's (NCNW) mission is "to lead, develop, and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities." Since 1935, the NCNW has been fulfilling this mission through research, advocacy, national- and community-based services and programs in the United States and Africa.

ALL are welcome to attend!
