NCCAF 2017 Presents:
Improvised History + Unstoppable Failure + Hot & Sweaty
2/18/2017 8PM at ArtsCenter West End (Carrboro, NC)
Improvised History is a historically funny, hysterically inaccurate show about what we remember from US History. You’ll laugh, you’ll groan at terrible history puns, and you may even learn something as famous and not-so-famous figures are brought to life based on your suggestions!
Unstoppable Failure brings a healthy dose of Absurdity with a heaping of social satire. Although founded in 2012 its members have been performing comedy together in one form or another for over a decade and have been official selections at comedy festivals up and down the east coast.
Hot & Sweaty is LIT's comedy ensemble, and it is one of the longest-running teams in DC. It consists of LIT's instructors & directors and represents LIT at comedy festivals around the country. Formed during a hot summer in 2010 with six members, Hot & Sweaty was the inspiration that eventually led to the formation of Laugh Index Theatre. Hot & Sweaty has cultivated more comedic talent & instructors, produced more shows and attended more festivals than any other team in DC.
The Largest Comedy Festival in the Southern United States, produced by the DSI Comedy in Chapel Hill, proudly celebrates its 17th annual comedy party! Our festival celebrates North Carolina comedy and NCCAF 2017 will features acts from all over North America including Aparna Nancherla, Emo Philips, Kevin McDonald, Mo Collins, Kevin Allison and RISK!, Eddie Brill, Eric Hunicutt & Holly Laurent, Brian O'Connell, The Josh and Tamra Show ― all performing in local Chapel Hill and Carrboro venues, February 15-26, 2017.
No need to print tickets. Be green (and just be prepared to show photo ID at the door).
