NCCAF 2017 Presents:
Erin Grotheer + John Sideris + Art Sturtevant + Chad Cosby + Jill Weiner + Devon Franklin
2/17/2017 10PM at ArtsCenter West End (Carrboro, NC)
Erin Grotheer is a Chicago transplant from a small farm in Kansas where she saw so many dogs stuck together. Erin's comedic style gravitates towards the strange, yet adorable because...those dimples. Erin is articulate yet, tremendously silly. Erin is a cast member of 100 Proof Comedy, the stand-up showcase at ComedySportz Theatre. Erin is a founder and producer of Andorka’s Comedy Revue and a producer of Surprise Party, both popular stand-up showcases in Chicago that are so stupid fun. Erin performed in the Cream City Comedy Festival in Milwaukee, the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival, and is currently an ensemble member of "Politically Correct Bedtime Stories" at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago.
John Sideris: Comedy is funny; John does comedy; therefore John is funny. Smart, but stupid. Topical, but timeless. Humorous, but comical. That's John
Art Sturtevant is a smart, funny comic with the interests of a 20-year old and the body of a middle-age man. His observaions on pop culture, being a father and how you can change so much and so little over the span of decades have cracked up audiences all over the East Coast.
Chad Cosby: Part observational, storytelling, and alt comedy.
Jill Weiner is a New York based comic. Her standup is dark yet playful. Through the use of characters, Jill illustrates her world view and often times hilarity ensues.
Devon Franklin: A young fresh standup comedian.
