NCaeyc Tour of Accredited Programs

NCaeyc is proud to partner with The Raleigh School to offer an opportunity to learn more about NAEYC Accredited Programs for Young Children.

Tour The Raleigh School from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm to learn about their commitment to excellence through NAEYC Accreditation.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

Since 1952, The Raleigh School has provided children with a nurturing, child-centered school environment. They are a community of parents, teachers, and children dedicated to creating a model early childhood school using developmentally appropriate practice. Accredited by NAEYC since 1988, The Raleigh School was the first institution in Wake County to receive this distinction.

Park in designated spaces at the Preschool on the campus of The Raleigh School (note: TRS also has upper grades housed in a separate building).

Enter through the main entrance of the Preschool to chedck-in.

9:00-9:30 Welcome and Overview of the Day

9:30-10:45 Tour of Classrooms

10:45-11:05 Break and transition to meeting space (light snacks provided)

11:05-12:30 Discussion, Reflection and Q&A with TRS Administrators and Staff

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation.

Free parking is available on site in the parking lot of the Preschool Building (Note: there are other buildings on campus for upper grades. Be sure to report to the Preschool which is clearly identified through campus signage.)

What can/can't I bring to the event?

-You may not take photographs of children; Please get permission from staff before taking any photographs at all.

-You may not bring food or drinks into the classrooms.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, you may send someone in your place if you are unable to attend.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is helpful but not absolutely necessary as we will have a roster with your name for check-in.

What is the refund policy?

NCaeyc is unable to offer any refunds. If you are unable to attend, your $5 registration fee will be forfeited.
